Speakers:

Tonya Ladipo, LCSW: CEO, The Ladipo Group

Tonya is a Philadelphia Business Journal 2022 Diversity in Business Awardee. She worked for

many years in community mental health agencies, and soon realized that a one-size-fits-all

approach often ignored the needs of Black and African-American people. Institutionalized

racism, a lack of diversity, and a failure of cultural awareness all conspired to mean that people

of color often received poor treatment. Tonya is on a mission to change that.

Amtul Sufi: Director, Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, CHOP

Amtul serves as Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In her role at CHOP, Amtul serves as a strategic advisor to Senior Executives, and Hospital Leaders in developing the evolving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy. She is focused on leadership development, employee engagement, increasing diverse talent, and creating an inclusive, and equitable culture. She is committed to equity, justice, and education, that helps to dismantle systemic structures of inequity, empowers people across all dimensions of diversity while strengthening organizational culture.
